Ambassador Sun Gongyi congratulated Dr. Alya'a Samir Borhan on her new assumption of office in Mauritius, stating that the Chinese Embassy is willing to strengthen exchanges with the Egyptian Embassy and look forward to establishing friendly working relations between the two sides. Dr. Borhan said that she was very delighted to meet with Ambassador Sun Gongyi. China has achieved world-renowned accomplishments in decades and has now become the world's second largest economy, playing an increasingly important role on the international stage. The friendship between Egypt and China dates back long time ago, and the Egyptian Embassy is also willing to further enhance exchanges and cooperation with its Chinese counterpart.
