On September 30, Ambassador Huang Shifang met with The Honourable Anil Kumar Bachoo, Minister of Health and Wellness of Mauritius, to exchange views on cooperation in the health sector between the two countries.

Ambassador Huang stated that China and Mauritius share a profound traditional friendship, and health cooperation constitutes a key component of the practical collaboration between the two sides. China stands ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Mauritius in the medical and health fields, aiming to achieve greater results and better benefit the peoples of both countries.

Minister Bachoo expressed gratitude for China's long-standing support for Mauritius's health sector. He noted that Mauritius attaches great importance to health cooperation with China and is willing to further enhance bilateral exchanges to drive positive progress in this area.
