On August 12, Ambassador Huang Shifang attended the International Youth Day celebration hosted by the Government of Mauritius. Mauritian Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Darmarajen Nagalingum and Junior Minister, Hon. Tony Apollon were also present.

Ambassador Huang exchanged views with the guests on deepening youth exchanges between China and Mauritius and strengthening cooperation in the cultural field, among other issues. She said that China attaches great importance to youth exchanges and looks forward to young people from both countries deepening friendship, working hand in hand and contributing youthful energy to China-Mauritius friendship and cooperation.

During the event, a Chinese artist delivered a wonderful hulusi performance, showcasing the charm of traditional Chinese culture through beautiful melodies. The performance was warmly applauded and well received by the guests.
