The 18ᵗʰ Mauritius Dragon Boat Festival was held on June 14 at Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Arts and Culture of Mauritius, the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius, the China Cultural Center in Mauritius, Dragon and Lion Dance Association, among others.

H.E. Ambassador Dr. Huang Shifang, Hon. Minister of Arts and Culture Mr. Mahendra Gondeea, Hon. Minister of Commerce and Consumer Protection Mr. John Michael Tzoun Sao Yeung Sik Yuen, Hon. Junior Minister of Youth and Sports Mrs. Eileen Karen Lee Chin FOO KUNE-BACHA, Lord Mayor of Port Louis Mrs. Christelle Pondard and other eminent personalities attended the event, along with thousands of local residents and tourists.
