On May 8, Ambassador Huang Shifang met with Mrs.Heba Capdevila Jangeerkhan, MEXA Chairperson, and exchanged views on China’s zero-tariff policy for Africa and on strengthening China–Mauritius economic and trade cooperation. 

Ambassador Huang noted that China attaches great importance to its economic and trade relations with Mauritius and expressed the hope that more Mauritian enterprises will make full use of China’s zero-tariff policy for Africa to expand into the Chinese market. Mrs.Heba Capdevila Jangeerkhan stated that the MEXA stands ready to play an active role in enhancing engagement and cooperation with the Chinese side to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
