On March 23, Ambassador Huang Shifang met with Dr. the Honourable Kaviraj Sharma Sukon, Mauritian Minister of Tertiary Education, Science and Research.

Ambassador Huang noted that China and Mauritius have achieved fruitful results in cooperation in the field of higher education. The Chinese side stands ready to further promote cooperation in relevant areas, and to actively support Mauritian youth in pursuing further studies in China, so as to jointly open up new prospects for bilateral educational cooperation.

Minister Sukon thanked China’s support in enhancing the educational cooperation in between and is willing to continue advancing exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in areas such as collaboration among higher education institutions and training in science and technology.
