On 25 February, the “Happy Chinese New Year” Cultural Show, organized by the Municipality of Beau Bassin-Rose Hill with support from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Mauritius, was held in Beau Bassin-Rose Hill.

The event was attended by Mr. Nagalingum, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mrs. Foo Kune-Bacha, Junior Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Pierre, Junior Minister of Tourism and Mrs. Batoor, Mayoress of Beau Bassin-Rose Hill together with local residents. As sister city of Beau Bassin-Rose Hill, Changzhou city of China sent youth performance troupe for the above-mentioned show.
