Notice About Activation of Electronic China Visa Application Form And Online Appointment System

From July 1st, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius will activate the electronic China visa application form and online appointment system. Specific requirements are as follows:

1. All China visa applicants (not including Hong Kong and Macao Visa) are required to log on to China Online Visa Application (https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn) to fill in the application form, which should be printed out together with the confirmation page and both should be signed by the applicant.

2. Log on to Appointment for Visa Application Submission (https://avas.cs.mfa.gov.cn) to book a time slot for processing the application.

3. Bring the documents mentioned in item 1 and other required documents and come to the embassy to process the application.

4. In principle, no urgent/rush services are provided.

5. From July 1st to July 31st is the transitional period, during which the applicant can still fill in and submit the old visa application form and online appointment is not required, but the applicant who fills in the electronic application form online must make an appointment. Starting from August 1st, the applicant must fill in the electronic application form and make an appointment online. The old application form will be no longer used.
